I am Efendy Hamzah. Living in the city of Makassar which was also known by the name of Ujung Pandang. Makassar is the Capital City of South Sulawesi formerly known as Celebes one of biggest island on Indonesian Archipelago. I was born and raised in this city. I love to draw since
childhood. Maybe talent ... maybe a derivative ... (my uncles from my late
mother are all good at painting) so this is probably "Running in the
Family". Because only a hobby, I used to draw at a certain time only and
the work I have created is never documented or saved. Something that I regret
later. Last year I thought to starting back my old hobby that I left for so
long. I deliberately made the Makassar Sketchbook Project to capture the city
buildings and everyday life in a sketch while I still have time and opportunity.
