The people of Sulawesi are reliable & tough seafarers. Their boats once sailed the seas around the world. These are just some of their traditional fishing boats that we can see on the beaches of Bulukumba Province.

I take picture of these boats along the coast of Bira, Bara Beach and the southern coastal area of sulawesi on a holiday trip

Bira and Bara Beach : Banana Boat Marketing Man

 

At my second day at Bara beach I saw this old man holding a lifejackets walking back and forth along the beach offering banana boat riding services. Looks like he is a persistent marketing because less than 1 hour he has got 5 people ready to board a banana boat.👍😀
