Trip to Bali : A Water Fountain

Moka Cafe at Astagina Resort Legian Bali is a garden restaurant. All guests have breakfast at this place and during lunch or dinner this restaurant offers a very good food. This garden restaurant structure pillars are made of natural wood and it surrounded by water pond and water fountain sprayed out from sculptures carved with a traditional Balinese style ....... an extraordinary stone carvings !👍👍

Trip to Bali : Vishnu Garuda Kencana Statue

Early last week I went to Bali for business trip for or several days.
I was staying at Legian area of Bali. The area well known for its beautiful beaches and famous cafes. Astagina Resort and Villa where I was staying at that time had a unique landscape. One of the highlights is the huge statue of Vishnu Garuda Kencana (the symbol devoted to the Hindu God Vishnu, and his mount, Garuda, the mythical bird who became his companion).
This statue stands high in front of the main entrance of Astagina Resort. Because this statue really caught my attention, about an hour after check in, I immediately took my sketchbook, my cotman pans set and my Lamy Safari and started sketching.😅😅

The Women of Liukang Loe Island (2/2)

There are interesting things with women on the island Liukang Loe ... while the men go out to sea they open a stall in front of their houses. Selling handicrafts from sea shells and fresh young coconuts to tourists who come to visit their island. 

Many of these coconuts are also transported from the surrounding islands. I noticed they moved and lifted all the coconuts themselves from the dock to their stalls without being helped by men.👍💪
